Click here for school's own summary of pupil performance for 2019 ahead of the release of official validated data
The link below takes you to a summary of the most recent validated data from the Department for Education. This should be updated by the DfE before the end of the Autumn Term 2019 with data from last academic year. It relates to Year Six children who left the school in July 2018. On here you will find:
- average progress scores in reading, writing and mathematics
- average 'scaled scores' in reading and maths
- percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard or above in reading, writing and mathematics
- percentage of pupils who achieved a high level of attainment in reading, writing and mathematics.
Due to the small sizes of our year groups, data often looks distorted and is not a reflection of the good work of the school. As an example, the 2016 - 2017 Y6 cohort contained 11 children, each worth 9.1%. If one or two of these children do not meet the required standard it can cause our overall percentages to drop dramatically. At Grange Moor, we place great value on measuring our success as a school through the work the children do in their books, observations of teaching and learning and progress and attainment as indicated by ongoing assessments. Please do not hesitate to see Mr. Rodgers if you require a more detailed conversation about our school's performance.
