Quite a mixed bag of feelings in our Awards Assembly today. So many achievements to celebrate but also some sad goodbyes to say. We kicked things off with giving out 100% Attendance Awards - 40% of our pupils managed this in the Spring Term and over half of these children have had 100% attendance since the beginning of the school year. We gave an extra-special award to Tommy in Y2, who is sadly moving to another school after today, as he has had 100% attendance since he first started in Reception. Well done!!

Outstanding Attitude Awards were given to: Faith, Govan, Nikole, George, Thomas, Abel and Cerys - well done all of you for making such a positive contribution to school. Sadly we had to say goodbye to Tommy, Ivy, Zachary and Nikole today as they move on to pastures new. All will be missed by everyone in school.

We also said goodbye in assembly to Mrs. Pearson after 32 years of service to the children of Grange Moor, Mrs. Tomlinson for 16 years, Miss. Livesey for 4 years, Mrs. Barraclough for one year and Miss. Selby for her time as midday supervisor. Thank you for everything you have done for the school.

This afternoon the School Sport Organising Crew held their sponsored walk to raise funds for new playground equipment. First count is over £500 with more money still to come in. Well done everyone! It was lovely after quite a tough half-term to see so many happy, smiling faces out on the field and such fabulous support from our parents as always. Thank you also to Karen from the Rise and Shine Community Hub who supplied, fruit snacks and drinks for the children. Some photos can be found here. Have a great Easter everyone!
